Adam Jan Dutkiewicz

Dr. Adam Dutkiewicz was art critic for The Advertiser in Adelaide 1992-2003; and The Independent Weekly 2005-2008. He has also worked for Business Review Weekly, Art Monthly Australia Online and written articles for Art and Australia. He is the author of several monographs on South Australian artists and numerous catalogue essays. His thesis was on the impact of post-war refugee and migrant artists on the Australian visual art environment in the years 1948-68.

He was President of the Royal South Australian Society of Arts Inc. from 1992-94; and has held several exhibitions of his own paintings, in Adelaide and Sydney.
